Will Monarch actually help me get a higher grade?
Honestly, no one can promise a grade, and we don't. Monarch keeps your revision on your exact syllabus, so the time you put in goes on what your exam tests.
How is Monarch different from a textbook?
Textbooks teach. Monarch examines. The product is built around the official assessment: mark schemes, command words, examiner reports, so the time you spend with it maps directly onto the marks you earn in May.
Is the AI tutor accurate for the official mark schemes?
Harko, the AI tutor, answers from your syllabus and the mark-scheme style of your exam, but it is an AI and can make mistakes. Check important answers against the mark scheme.
Which exam sessions does it cover?
Each course is written for its current specification, so it covers the exam series you sit. Cambridge past papers in the app run from 2020 to 2025.
Can I use Monarch offline?
Not yet. Monarch needs an internet connection.
Can I install Monarch on my Mac or computer?
Yes. On a Mac, open app.studymonarch.com in Safari and choose File > Add to Dock. In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar (in Chrome you can also open the menu and choose Cast, save and share > Install Monarch). Monarch then opens in its own window with the Monarch icon. If you were signed in when you added it, you stay signed in; if not, sign in once in the new window. On iPhone or iPad, open it in Safari and tap Share > Add to Home Screen.
Does Monarch predict my grade?
No. Your Progress page shows what you did this week, course by course: the days you studied and the cards you reviewed.
What if my subject isn't listed?
We cover 48 courses across IGCSE, GCSE, A-Level and the IB. Tell us what's missing with Request a subject. We read every request, but we can't promise a date.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time: in Settings, Manage subscription, or by emailing contact@studymonarch.com. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Every purchase, Lifetime included, has the 14-day right to withdraw described on the Pricing page. You can also withdraw with the ‘Withdraw from contract’ button in Settings > Plan & billing.
Is there a student discount?
Pro is €4.99 a month or €49 a year, priced for students. Now and then we give out codes for free Pro time.
How is my data handled?
We do not sell your data, and nothing you write is used to train AI. Your account is stored in the EU. Some services we use, such as the AI provider behind Harko, are outside the EU and work under data-transfer safeguards. The full list is in Privacy.
